Nicolas Cage has spent so many movies running from the forces of Hell, it was only a matter of time before the angels came calling too in Left Behind…Heaven help them.
In this new rapture themed film, Cage plays Rayford Steele, a pilot on Transatlantic 747 flight that sees its passengers mysteriously vanish into the great beyond. Further, it begins happening all over the world. For those left behind, including the un-rapturable Nicolas Cage, the first stage of the Apocalypse has begun.
Left Behind is a remake of the Christian themed 2000 movie starring Kirk Cameron. Based on the bestselling book series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkin, this new film is directed by Vic Armstrong and is based on a screenplay by Paul Lalonde John Patus, the former of whom is also a producer on the film and released this clip via his Facebook page. It also features Chad Michael Murray, Cassi Thomson, Nicky Whelan, Lea Thompson, Jordan Sparks, Quinton Aaron, and Martin Klebba.
Cage goes biblical in June 2014.
