The Assassin's Creed movie, starring Michael Fassbender, has received new writers...
It might just be us, but it does seem as though the August 2015 release date that's been set for the big screen debut of Assassin's Creed is looking increasingly ambitious. Most of the big summer films of 2015 are either shooting now or starting shortly. Assassin's Creed? It's just had another script rewrite ordered.

As far as we know, the project doesn't have a director locked down yet, in spite of rumours of Safe House's Daniel Espinosa being linked with the job. In fact, the one certainty is the same one that's been known for some time: Michael Fassbender is on board.
There's still just about time to get the film done and delivered in time for August 2015, if that indeed is still the plan. But let's just say they appear to be cutting this one very fine...
