As is commonplace with Christopher Nolan films, he already has a remarkable cast for his upcoming sci-fi movie Interstellar, with Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway and Topher Grace all signed up already. For some time the final spot in the cast has been open, and now it has been filled by Wes Bentley.
Details of the role are being kept a secret at this point, as is the plot beyond the fact that the movie involves a group of explorers travelling to alternate dimensions through a wormhole, and that the script is a joint effort between Nolan and his brother Jonathan.
Bentley is a damn fine character actor who certainly keeps himself busy. Having appeared in a high number of films last year, he also has a number of projects lined up for release. His highest profile role of late would be his portrayal of Seneca in The Hunger Games, where he sported some rather smashing facial hair.
