Surviving a 40-story tall nuclear reptile that breathes flames is one thing. Surviving Comic-Con as the stars of the upcoming Godzilla film is another beast all together. Luckily, our heroes of the hour, director Gareth Edwards and stars, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and Bryan Cranston did just that…even when they were at the interactive replica of their upcoming 2014 blockbuster!
In one of the weirdest collisions of creators and geek culture, the talent behind the Godzilla reboot were allowed to tour the interactive ruins/ride meant to tease fans. And they appeared to be having a jolly good time of destruction.
In the below video, you can see Edwards quip that they should make a movie out of this, and Cranston has way too much fun “scaring” Olsen into believing the big guy is right behind her.
We still have not seen a second of official footage, yet it appears safe to say that this American Godzilla reboot will be Kaijus better than the infamous 1998 disaster. Still, as WB and Legendary’s final collaboration, eyebrows are raised if the atomic juggernaut can make a bigger splash in the U.S. next year.
