The final trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has arrived, and it tells you lots more about the film.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has played it a little close to the vest. Other than it being the next logical step from Rise of the Planet of the Apes, just how much can a trailer really tell you about this movie other than the not so vague sense that war is coming? This latest (and final) trailer should fix all that.
We suppose that if you're looking to head into this movie completely cold, you might want to skip this trailer. Otherwise, it certainly has the best clips we've seen from this one, so that's a point in its favor. Oh, just watch it already:
Here's that official synopsis for you, too:
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is directed by Matt Reeves, and stars Gary Oldman, Andy Serkis, Keri Russell, and future Doctor Doom, Toby Kebbel. It opens on July 11th.
