Warner Bros. are bringing a stack of big movies to the San Diego Comic Con, but no official word on Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Oh, Warner Bros...who do you think you're fooling? The studio announced their SDCC plans today. Warner Bros. will take over the famed Hall H on Saturday, July 26th at 10 am to provide fans with early looks at Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road, and the Wachowski's Jupiter Ascending. Notice something missing?
No sign of Zack Snyder's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. This isn't much of a surprise. The only real surprise here would be if Zack Snyder doesn't stroll out on stage near the conclusion of this to drop some kind of sizzle reel on fans. Last year, while everyone expected some kind of Man of Steel 2announcement, nothing was officially on the books until that dramatic news that Batman would be joining the fun.
Want to really drive the fans nuts this year? Bring Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot (especially Gal Gadot, and for the love of gods, show some footage of Wonder Woman in action), Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Jason Momoa out to wave to the crowd. It really won't take much to bring the house down. Perhaps they'll prove (or disprove) some of that recently leaked Justice League movie schedule, that included a Wonder Woman solo film, a Shazammovie, and more.
Den of Geek will be in Hall H, and we'll bring you all the news as soon as we can get it to you. Until then, keep up with all our Batman v. Superman coverage right here.
