Terry Gilliam's next sci-fi movie looks like one of his other sci-fi movies. We bet you can guess which. Watch the trailer here.
Terry Gilliam doesn't make dull movies. You can never really question the man's vision. The Zero Theorem (set for release in the US in September) looks like a return to the Terry Gilliam of the Brazildays, though. It's all here. Hell, you could tell us this is a sequel to Braziland we'd probably believe you.
The Zero Theorem is the story of Qohen Leth (Christoph Waltz) and his quest for a scientific formula that ultimately will prove the meaninglessness of existence. Nothing too existential, then. Meanwhile, we're treated to this technicolor display of dystopian madness. It's been a long time since 2009's TheImaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, and suddenly it feels like a very long time until September.
Hey, comic book fans. Doesn't this look like your dream Transmetropolitanmovie? The Zero Theorem also stars Melanie Thierry, Matt Damon, Tilda Swinton, and Peter Stormare.
