Those worried that the violence would be toned down for Kick-Ass 2 should simmer down and enjoy this clip from the superhero comedy sequel.
When Dave Lizewski aka Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is sent into the bowels of Brooklyn for Kick-Ass 2 as the whitest pimp ever, his bait is used for the Hit-Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) switch. And yes, there is blood.
It is an amusing sequence that seems to pull from the Hit-Girl graphic novel and, more importantly, selling the movie’s most popular character in her element of four-letter words and severed limbs.
However, it still feels like Universal Pictures is showing a lot of hilarious bits in the clip section. We hope there is something left to see (and worth seeing) when the movie opens in the U.S. on August 16.
