Before he tackles Predator, Iron Man 3's Shane Black has Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling to wrangle...
Well, it looks like Shane Black is going to be a busy man for the next year or two. He's already confirmed to be directing the new Predatormovie, which he's helping to put the story together for. Yet before that, he's got what's being described as a '70s comedy noir' to put together.
Black is writing and directing The Nice Guys, a film about a fighter and a private detective who join forces in 1970s Los Angeles to solve a murder. The film is expected to be Black's next, and it's now been revealed that he's got the two leads for it. Not bad choices, either: Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are to star in the film.
Black's last film, Iron Man 3, sits as one of the ten biggest of all time. This one sounds more in the vein of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang though. Hope so anyway: we love Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
