Finally: the movie of Sony's Uncharted videogames is set to start filming in early 2015...
Well, it's take a long time to get this far, but it looks as if the long-mooted film of the Unchartedvideogame series is finally about to get moving.
The film is being directed by Seth Gordon, who helmed Horrible Bosses and The King Of Kong, and when asked by Zap2It when production was set to start, he said "I think very early next year. That's the plan. That's like tomorrow, essentially, because the prep is so complicated for the movie".
Confirming that the script has been brought to "a really good place" and that the film will be "very international", the big problem now is who to cast in the lead role. Common sense, of course, suggests Nathan Fillion, but it's not looking that way. Green has confirmed that the hunt is still on, and as we learn more, we'll let you know.
We might now be looking at a 2016 release for this one.
