JJ Abrams shows off an X-Wing fighter in a video from the Star Wars: Episode VII set. Some plot details have surfaced, too...
JJ Abrams has continued to push the Star Wars: Force for Change charity campaign, and we can't blame him. When you've got a soapbox as big as Star Wars to stand on, it's nice to use it for a good cause. It's simple: donate and win a chance to be in Star Wars: Episode VIIAND get a private screening of the movie.
And how does Mr. Abrams choose to remind us of this? By telling us in front of a full-sized, apparently functional X-Wing fighter. Watch the video here.
And go here to donate/enter to win.
Now, this next bit you can go after at your own risk. Devin Faraci at Badass Digest has a good handle on some plot details for Star Wars: Episode VII. He's been on the money with this stuff, and some of these line up well with the few bits and pieces that we've heard, as well. Rather than just re-word his scoop, and in order to give our readers a chance to decide what they consider spoiler-y or not, we'll just leave the link to his story here for you. Folks who don't want to know anything should just move along.
Star Wars: Episode VII makes the jump to lightspeed on December 18th, 2015.

If it weren't for the doubled laser cannons on the edge of the wing, I'd say it looked more like a Z-95 Headhunter.
