Deadpool movie

This may be as close as you get to seeing Ryan Reynolds in a Deadpool movie for awhile.

How legit is this Deadpoolmovie test footage that leaked online late last night? It's so legit that 20th Century Fox is taking these videos down as fast as we can find them. Forgive me if the video isn't here by the time you read this.

Usually, we don't do shaky leaked footage. It's ugly. It's low rent. The videos disappear, leaving a YouTube shaped hole in our hearts on the page. I'd like to think we're better than that.

But this Deadpool movie test footage is just too delicious to pass up. It's CG, but it's just meant to test the timing of the dialogue, the music, and give everyone an idea of how the action should play out. This is definitely the opening sequence from Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick's hilarious Deadpooldraft circa 2010, and that's definitely Ryan Reynolds' voice.

Watch it here while you can....

LEAKED DEADPOOL TEST FOOTAGE @SuperheroReport from @SuperheroReport (TWITTER) on Vimeo.

Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has not only confirmed that this is the same test footage that 20th Century Fox showed him, but that the Deadpool you're watching is actually a Ryan Reynolds motion capture performance. That makes this that much closer to being the Deadpoolmovie that you may or may not ever actually get to see.

So, you think this clip is a little violent? Perhaps a bit over the top? oof...you should read the next one hundred and something or other pages.

So, here's our plea to 20th Century Fox: let this Deadpoolclip live. Put it out there yourselves. Fans have been desperately clamoring for this flick for years, and while we understand the reluctance to make an R-rated superhero movie (and, make no mistake, this footage comes from a screenplay that would absolutely be a hard "R"), just let the fans have a little something. Hell, we were so short on major, earth-shattering superhero announcements at SDCC this year that had Fox screened this at their panel, they would have been hailed as the conquering heroes of the con.

Or, if you won't let folks have this...then just make the darn movie, already.

I've got a few more details on this version of the Deadpoolmovie, as well as some other X-Men movies that never got made, right here for you. But if I were you, I'd sit here and watch this clip a few more times. It might not be here when you get back.

Gah. Watched it one time then -- yoink, it was gone. Like the last bits of a favorite desert sucked down a disposal.

Fixed that for you! Enjoy it while you can...

outstanding !!

thanks!!

Hey, I have an Idea. Kickstarter.

This movie needs a greenlight... I don't even care if it's animated. Make it happen!

I really would love to have an all out deadpool movie....sometimes you need a little evil and bad in the good

Noice! I've got a nephew and Deadpool fan who'd love to see it.
