It's an eventful day if you're looking for information on the live-action Jungle Book remake.
Well, this is certainly some news. Warner Bros.' live-action Jungle Bookmovie now has an official title. It's called Jungle Book: Origins, just in case you were wondering whether or not they had franchise plans for this one. Admittedly, it's a better title than Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Ah, but there's more. Jungle Book: Origins will open on October 21st, 2016. Alright.
But what about the really big news?
How about this? Bill Murray has joined the cast of Disney's Jungle Book remake as Baloo. For the record, I would pay serious money to see Murray voice Baloo in a TaleSpin movie, but that's another story. So, this cast now includes Murray, Ben Kingsley (as Bagheera), Idris Elba (as Shere Khan), and Scarlett Johannson (as Kaa). That's some star power.
