The Russo brothers tease one or two elements of their upcoming Captain America 3...
SPOILERS: Best not to read this if you've not seen Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo are currently in the early stages of preparing their follow up to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which thus far is going by the name of Captain America3. The film is due in cinemas on May 6th 2016 - the same day as Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice - and the pair have teased one or two things we can expect from the new movie.
Chatting to Yahoo!, the pair revealed that the new film will follow, in part, Steve Rogers' search for Bucky Barnes, but politics will still form a good part of the movie. "The character was invented for an explicitly political purpose. So it's hard to get away from that nature," Anthony Russo noted.
Captain America3 will pick up a few years after the second film, and it'll be "bringing some new elements to the table that will give us a twist on Winter Soldier." What those elements are, nobody's telling just yet. But given that Chris Evans seems pretty adamant that he's walking away from the role once his Marvel contract is done, might this involve a passing of the shield to another character?
The Russo brothers are, incidentally, helming a few episodes ofAgent Carter before they start production on Captain America3.
