Watch the newest trailer for Foxcatcher, a a disturbing biopic starring Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, and Mark Ruffalo.
In what is increasingly appearing to be one of the most intriguing films of the fall, we are given another and far more incendiary tease (via IMDb) of what to expect from Bennett Miller’s Foxcatcher.
As the director’s latest biopic, Foxcatcher focuses on the crazed John du Pont and the Olympic wrestlers he’d drive to murder if possible.
Miller, who previously directed the feel-good sports movie Moneyball and the chilly true story about murderers and the author who made his name on them, Capote, is combining both subgenres in this film about the Schultz brothers and the eccentric, schizophrenic millionaire who became obsessed with them.
Featuring a dark turn by Steve Carell in the role of du Pont and the more dramatic side of Channing Tatum, who plays Mark Schultz, the picture obviously looks to be hard-hitting. The movie also features Mark Ruffalo in the role of David Schultz.
Foxcatcher gets in the movie ring on November 14, 2014.
