Miltos Yerolemou has joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII in an undisclosed role.
Miltos Yerolemou, familiar to Game of Thrones fans as Syrio Forel from the HBO series' first season, is off to a galaxy far, far away. The BBC reports that Mr. Yerolemou has been added to the Star Wars: Episode VII cast in an unspecified, but probably minor, role. We imagine someone who is handy with a sword could be quite useful in a movie dealing with Jedi, though.
Star Wars: Episode VII just resumed production after a summer hiatus. We don't know whether Mr. Yerolemou joined up before or after the break, but it's possible that this casting took place some time ago and that the press is only getting word of it now. He joins fellow Game of Thrones alum Gwendoline Christie, not to mention a talented young cast that includes John Boyega, Adam Driver, and Lupita Nyong'o. Star Wars: Episode VIIis due for release on December 18th, 2015.
