Sony Pictures gives us a tank's eye view at Brad Pitt’s new film Fury.
Sony Pictures released an inside peek into a tank called Fury in their new trailer.
After a series of on the ground footage shot from the Tank Command’s POV, Brad Pitt tells his crew “I started this war killing Germans in Africa. Now I’m killing Germans in Germany” as he breaks in a new gunner, one who is replacing “the best gunner in the entire ninth army.”
Now as a single crew takes on an entire platoon, it’s time for the new gunner to perform. That is, when he’s not seducing the locals with his palm readings. It’s the end of World War II and five U.S. soldiers are going up against 300 Nazis in a world overrun by refugees
The official YouTube site explains “April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.”
Brad Pitt stars as tank commander Wardaddy. Fury also stars Logan Lerman, Shia LaBeouf and Jon Bernthal from the Walking Dead and Mob City, play his crew.
Fury was directed by David Ayer, who made End of Watch and Training Day.
Furyopens on Oct. 17.
