Rambo 5 now has a title and director

Just yesterday, we reported the news (first broken by Film Divider) that shooting was set to start on the fifth and presumably final Rambomovie at the end of next month. Sylvester Stallone is taking on the role of John Rambo once more, and the production is set to last until early next year.

We now learn that the film has a title and director, too.

So then: Rambo 5 will now be called Rambo: Last Blood, and the man calling the shots behind the camera will be Sylvester Stallone. Stallone last directed the first The Expendablesmovie in 2010, and he also helmed the fourth Rambofilm prior to that.

The film may be ready for release by the end of 2015. Don't be surprised if it turns up in 2016 though.
