Despite the always-cryptic marketing, Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming Interstellar is easily the most anticipated movie of the fall for us. Whenever a filmmaker of that caliber can sheepishly admit that he’s chasing his own space opera in the same vein as 2001: A Space Odyssey, how is there a possibility you won’t get excited? Plus, as it comes out just in time to keep the meteoric ascension of the McConnaisance going, there is only good vibrations coming from this mystery movie about space and corn.

Interstellar is a mysterious adventure about a group of scientists and explorers who must go into space to save mankind’s destiny following a negative effect on Earth’s crops. The movie is based on a script written by Jonathan Nolan (originally meant for Steven Spielberg to direct) and Christopher Nolan, and stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Wes Bentley, Topher Grace, John Lithgow, and Michael Caine.
Interstellar takes off November 7, 2014.
