Producer Frank Marshall has shared a poster from the set of Star Wars: Episode VII, designed to discourage spoilers...
Interest in Star Wars: Episode VII is such that every aspect of its production has been placed under intense scrutiny by fans and writers. It was recently revealed, for example, that actor Oscar Isaac has recently finished filming his part in the film. Who Isaac will actually be playing is shrouded in mystery.
There's a thick veil of secrecy surrounding Episode VII, with JJ Abrams cannily drip-feeding official images and announcements at his own pace, frequently to help promote the Force For Change charity. That secrecy is such that at least one poster has been stuck up at the film's base of productions at Pinewood Studios, designed to remind visitors not to share what they've seen on set.
Mimicking the style of World War II government advertising, the poster shows a familiar hand clutching an Galactic Empire lackey's face. "Loose lips bring down starships," the poster reads. It's the work of artist Cliff Chiang, one of several wonderful Star Wars posters he's designed in the past - his website has several, all in a similar vintage style.
A snapshot of the poster was tweeted by producer Frank Marshall, who wrote, "Excited to be here at Pinewood, but mum's the word..."
