Here’s our first look at Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof’s mysterious sci-fi fable.
Tomorrowland has been shrouded in secrecy every since it was announced, but now the upcoming sci-fi adventure from director Brad Bird (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) and screenwriter Damon Lindelof (The Leftovers) gets its first teaser trailer.
The official synopsis reads:
Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (George Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world -- and them -- forever.
From what we’ve heard and now can briefly see, Tomorrowland is a futuristic utopia that exists in a different dimension from ours, for purposes yet unknown. Walt Disney may have been impressed enough to name his theme park attraction after it, but the “real” Tomorrowland is full of secrets and wonders beyond imagining.
