Zack Snyder will return as the director of Justice League 2, and both films now have release dates...
We've known for quite some time that Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder would direct the Justice League movie. We also know that Batman v. Superman moved its release schedule around to allow for some production on Justice League to take place, and make for a quicker turnaround time. Well, now we have release dates for both films, and the way they're listed on the calendar is intriguing, too...
During Warner Bros official announcement about their superhero movie slate, they revealed TWO Justice League dates. Here they are:
November 17th, 2017: Justice League Part One
June 14th, 2019: Justice League Part Two
It's interesting that Warner Bros chose to refer to them as "part one" and "part two" rather than with a more traditional sequel numbering. This could mean nothing, but the implication does appear to be that there's some kind of continuation of the story involved. I might just be reading into this too much. It's been a crazy day.
