Now you can listen to the music the same way Star-Lord does.
The Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack – or to be more precise, the mix tape of songs that Peter “Star-Lord” Quill (Chris Pratt) has running inside his Walkman – is getting a very cool limited edition re-release for Record Store Day’s “Black Friday” event on November 28. The Awesome Mix Vol. 1, as it is officially known, will be issued as a cassette – just like Star-Lord’s!
Record Store Day is a twice-yearly celebration of independent music stores for which labels and artists often provide exclusive items to direct fans to those shops. The Awesome Mix Vol. 1 will only be available until the end of the year, and since there’s no word on how many are being manufactured, it might be in your best interest to snap up a copy as soon as you can.
