Jesse Eisenberg is in talks to reprise his Batman v. Superman Lex Luthor role in David Ayers' Suicide Squad movie.
Could Lex Luthor be the Nick Fury of the DC Cinematic Universe? Jesse Eisenberg may make an appearance in the Suicide Squad movie that will be released in August of 2016, just a few short months after his role as the bald baddie in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
This isn't the first we've heard that Lex Luthor could function as something of the "glue" of the shared universe that Warner Bros. is building, but it's the first that we've seen it confirmed in a publication like Deadline (who say that Mr. Eisenberg is "in discussions" about the whole thing). It would absolutely make sense for a powerful, well-connected man like Lex Luthor to make the occasional appearance in these movies, even if he isn't a major antagonist.
I wouldn't bet any money on him making appearances in all of the movies on that suddenly impressive slate of superhero movies, though.
