The fire is spreading...to the cover of Empire in the case of Jennifer Lawrence and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.
The fire is spreading, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is gearing up for a full-court press of marketing as we enter the final month of hype. The penultimate Hunger Games film is here, and la révolution is in the air with Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen deciding between saving her fake fiancé and the North American nation of Panem from the villainous (and terrific) President Snow.
To mark the occasion the Lionsgate tent pole has taken over Empire with the two covers below.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 adapts the first half of Suzanne Collins' book and boasts the cast of Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Natalie Dormer, Julianne Moore, Stanley Stucci and Donald Sutherland.
In the not-so-distant future, the Hunger Games are over, and Katniss’ home, the impoverished District 12, has been destroyed. Yet, whisked away against her will as the symbol of resistance to the “forgotten” District 13, Katniss (Lawrence) must rise from the ashes as a country’s mockingjay against the tyrannical government run by President Snow (Sutherland).
Directed by The Hunger Games: Catching Fire helmer Francis Lawrence, both Mockingjay films were shot concurrently, with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 due out in tehaters on November 21, 2014.
