We've got turkey sign! The MST3K Thanksgiving tradition, Turkey Day, is back for another round this year...
Fire up that YouTube machine, get yourself some snacks, and prepare yourself for the greatest Thanksgiving tradition this side of watching the Detroit Lions lose (chill, Lions fans, they get my unwavering support every Thanksgiving). The MST3K Turkey Day, which made a triumphant return last year will be back again this year...on the relatively recently launched official Mystery Science Theater 3000 YouTube page, no less!
This year's MST3K Turkey Day will consist of six movies, with new intros from Joel Hodgson. No word on which movies just yet. It's a surprise. But perhaps some of them will be selections from the upcoming MST3K Turkey Dayboxed set, which incudes such classics as Jungle Goddess(one of the first installments I ever saw, and which stars George "Superman" Reeves and Ralph "Dick Tracy" Byrd), The Screaming Skull, Squirm, and The Painted Hills. There's even a trailer...for all of these awesome things.
So, forget your family. Join your real friends on the Satellite of Love beginning at noon EDT on Thanksgiving Day. You won't be sorry, and you probably won't put on as many pounds.
