Two people were revealed to be returning for Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Joss Whedon's been talking about the spilled secret.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that two familiar faces will be turning up in Joss Whedon's 2015 Marvel blockbusters, Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Even though the names of two said people have been openly discussed online, we're calling in Daphne the Spoiler Squirrel on the off chance you don't know, and don't want the reveal ruined.
As always, if you scroll below Daphne, you're in spoiler territory.
Still here?
Well, Vulturehas done a new interview with Joss Whedon, and asked him about the comments Idris Elba made, where the actor revealed that both he and Tom Hiddleston had roles in Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Asked whether Whedon had had to send a 'scolding' email to Elba, Whedon said that "um, should he receive an email from, there might be an attitude of scold."
When put to him that Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios' chief, has probably been in touch with Idris Elba already, Whedon said that "yeah, when you have a cast of 19,000 people, inevitably, once every month, you pick up [a story] and you're like, 'awww'"
In the interview too, Whedon was asked about whether the script for Avengers: Age Of Ultron was 'bananas, in the best way' and how he was getting on with the movie. "Well, at this point, I'm still trying to connect those bananas and turn them into a bunch. Yeah, I don't think that banana metaphor is going to go very far," he laughed. "But it's really fun, honestly. Even while I'm looking at ways in which I messed up, it's fun taking everything and connecting it, finding a way to make something more emotional or funnier or cooler, so I love the work."
