It looks like Christoph Waltz will play the villain in the next James Bond movie, coming next year...
The new James Bond movie, which everyone can just call Bond 24 until we get a suitably wordy title, may have finally found its villain. Christoph Waltz, who has been making his fair share of genre films, can add "Bond villain" to his resume' soon enough.
While the news comes via (ahem) The Daily Mail, they've had the inside track on Bond news recently. If nothing else, we would very much like this to be true. "Extremely cunning" and "a nemesis of sorts" are words kicked around over there, so perhaps Waltz isn't a traditional villain. The Wrap believes this is the same role that was intended for Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Skyfalldirector Sam Mendes will return for Bond 24, as will (unsurprisingly) Daniel Craig. Dave Bautista is in as a heavy, and Lea Seydoux also has a key role. Bond 24 is set for a US release on November 6th, 2015.
