Danny Boyle's film of Steve Jobs' life might be adding Natalie Portman to its cast list...
Now that the Steve Jobs biopic has been picked up by another studio, it finally seems as though the film is going ahead.
Most recently Sony Pictures dropped the project after developing it for some time, and it's consequently been picked up by Universal instead. Aaron Sorkin has penned the screenplay, based on Walter Isaacson's biography of Jobs, whilst the current frontrunner to play the man himself is Michael Fassbender. Leonard DiCaprio and Christian Bale have been previously linked.
Danny Boyle is directing the movie and Seth Rogen is set to join up to play Steve Wozniak. And now we learn that Natalie Portman may be the latest addition to the cast. She's said to have been earmarked for the role of Steve Jobs' daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs.
We'd expect the plan is to get this one shooting in early 2015, before anything else goes wrong on what's been a bumpy project thus far. We'll keep you posted...
