Bruce Willis and Thomas Jane star in Vice, which lands in the US next month. Poster and details right here...
Even though it feels like it's been a while since Bruce Willis put his back into a film, his track record when it comes to science fiction is really rather good. In fact, it's perhaps no coincidence that his last really impressive feature was Rian Johnson's Looper.
Anyway, he's giving science fiction another go, as he filmed the upcoming movie Vice. This one is directed by Brian A Miller (who previously directed Willis in The Prince. Nope, us neither). Miler is in post-production on the film right now, and it co-stars Thomas Jane and Ambyr Childers.
The plot? Willis plays a man called Julian who has designed VICE, described in the synopsis as the "ultimate resort," one where "anything goes and the customers can play out their wildest fantasies with artificial inhabitants who look, think and feel like humans."
Ah-ha, you may be thinking! What if one of them becomes sentient or something? Well bonus points to you, as one such artificial becomes self-aware and pegs it. Enter Thomas Jane's cop who wants to shut down VICE, whilst Willis' mercenaries want the escaped artificial back. Shooting seems to ensue.
