The long in development remake of The Crow now has a director. We have a few more details here...
The Crowis a deserved cult classic. The 1994 film based on the work of James O'Barr was marred by the tragic death of star Brandon Lee during filming, but the movie went on to considerable success and acclaim. Sequels have been, shall we say, less successful. But there has been talk of a remake for several years now, and it looks like we're finally moving forward.
Corin Hardy will direct The Crow (not to be confused with Den of Geek's own David Crow), and it was none other than Edgar Wright who suggested Hardy to Crowproducer Ed Pressman. The Crow is scheduled to begin filming in the spring, and has a script by Cliff Dorfman.
