The Wonder Woman movie has a star and a director, it just needs a writer. That may have been fixed...
The Wonder Woman movie is starting to take shape, like a lump of clay waiting to have life breathed into it by...oh, wait, that's not Wonder Woman's origin story anymore. Anyway, the Wonder Woman movie is trying to get itself a writer, and Warner Bros. may have just found one with Jason Fuchs, writer of WB's summertime Peter Pan reboot, Pan.
At least that's what The Hollywood Reporter says. I believe them.
Michelle MacLaren is directing Wonder Woman, and Gal Gadot will star. Wonder Woman is scheduled to hit theaters on June 23rd, 2017, a year after she appears in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and in the same calendar year that we'll see her in the Justice League movie. There's been some chatter that this might be a period piece, and the first of a trilogy of time-spanning Wonder Woman films. None of that has been confirmed, but it's gaining steam in certain circles.
