Jason Momoa is signed to play Aquaman four times, including the Aquaman solo movie. Guess who he wants to direct it?

We know that Marvel likes to lock up their big talent for six movies at a time, but we haven't had too many indications of how many movies the soon to be cinematic Justice League will be sticking around for. Well, that's starting to change, thanks to Jason Momoa speaking at a panel at Comic-Con Experience in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Momoa confirms that he's signed to play Aquaman in four movies. So, if you're keeping score, that accounts for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League Part One, Justice League Part Two, and the Aquaman solo film. There's still no director for that Aquaman movie, although it's currently got a pair of writers working on competing drafts with Will Beall (Gangster Squad) and Kurt Johnstad (300: Rise of an Empire) on the case. But who does Momoa want to direct?

"I love Zack Snyder," Mr. Momoa told the crowd. "He has an incredible vision and I am very grateful to him for the opportunity to play such an important character." Mr. Snyder is, of course, currently directing Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and then will move right on to Justice League Part One. But Aquamanis due the following year, with a July 27th, 2018 release date, with Justice League Part Two scheduled for June 24th, 2019. He may not have time for Aquaman, but you never know.

Huge hat tip to Comic Book Resources for this.
