Trailer“The blood we spill here is on our blades,” a soldier tells Nicolas Cage in the new trailer for the upcoming movie Outcast. Master of the obvious, where else is it going to be? On lobster bibs? This is a martial arts war of royal succession.
Outcast stars Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage and Hayden Christensen, who starred in the Star Wars prequels.
Christensen is protecting the heir to the imperial throne and his sister, played by Ji Ke Jun Yi and Liu Yifei, from their bloodthirsty brother. Nicolas cage is playing the White Ghost, a tired crusader who living in the woods.
According to the official synopsis:
Outcast begins when the heir of the Imperial throne becomes the target of assassination by his despised older brother. The young prince’s only hope is the protection of his sister, and the reluctant aid of war-weary Crusader, Arken (Christensen),who must overcome his own personal demons and rally the assistance of the legendary Crusader-turned-bandit, Gallain (Cage), to return the prince to his rightful place on the throne.
Nick Powell is making his directorial debut from a screenplay by James Dormer for the movie.
Outcast hits theaters and VOD February 6.
