Warner Bros has announced that two new Lego games will coincide with this year's Jurassic World and Avengers movies...
NewsIt's 10 years since Lego Star Wars established the modern format of frenetic action, collecting and building, and TT Games have applied the formula to a legion properties since, including Harry Potter, Indiana Jones and Lord Of The Rings.
Warner has now announced that two more games are joining the fold. The first is one that has been teased in the past: Lego Jurassic World. Although released to coincide with Colin Trevorrow's fourth Jurassic movie due out this summer, Jurassic World will take in every film in the franchise. We'll therefore get Lego-built versions of Jurassic Park, The Lost World and Jurassic Park III as well as this year's sequel.
The next big game is Lego Marvel's Avengers, which, as it sounds, is based on the 2011 superhero hit and this year's eagerly-awaited sequel, Age Of Ultron. Both Jurassic World and Marvel's Avengers will, true to form, be released on just about every current system going: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC.
Other games announced are Lego Ninjago: Shadow Of Ronin, which is coming to Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita on the 24th March, and a mobile version of Lego Batman: Beyond Gotham, due out this summer.
Lego Jurassic World is scheduled for release in June, while Lego Marvel Avengers is said to be out in the autumn.
