Check out the first clip from Fifty Shades of Grey right now, featuring Anastasia Steele selling Christian Grey tape and rope. Irony, much?
NewsLater this month, a tiny film with monumental intensity is coming to Blu-ray. Likely, you have heard about it but have not seen it. So when Whiplash hits the home video market on Feb. 24th, and on VOD as well, it will be your chance to see one of 2014’s absolute crowning highlights before J.K. Simmons (JJJ from the good Spider-Man movies) wins his deserved Oscar for playing the music teacher from hell. As much a drill sergeant that will drive his students into PTSD as a jazz band leader, Simmons’ Fletcher is a character for the ages, and easily amongst the best movie villains in the last 10 years.
In other news, Fifty Shades of Grey has released its first clip in which Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) stalks his prey, Ms. Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) at the home depot store where she works. It’s akin to Bambi’s Mother selling Man his gun.
For the record, the film was also slapped with an “18 and Over” rating in the UK (our equivalent to an NC-17) today, and it will not be contested. The film’s adults-only wholesomeness is in the Super Bowl spot below, too.
