Check out three new images from the mysterious city of scientific curiosity: Brad Bird and George Clooney's Tomorrowland...
NewsAfter a Super Bowl TV Spot and a cryptic teaser, the secrets hidden within Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland remain oh so enticing. Now, Disney is partnering with Google to lift the veil, ever so slightly, for the City of Tomorrowland...where anything can happen. With the new website TakeMeToTomorrowland.com, Disney has released the first three concept images, which you can glimpse below. Additionally, Disney promises that come later this spring, the site will offer a complete 360-degree panorama of this future world, sparkling with optimism and possibility.
Director Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) has teamed with George Clooney to envision a world in need of uplift and ambition again (much like our own). When a troubled youth (Britt Robertson) gets a glimpse of a better place, she joins forces with a former boy genius who has descended into cynicism (Clooney) to uncover the truth of an enigmatic locale hidden in time and space, and known only as “Tomorrowland.” It will be a dangerous quest that, if they succeed, will change the world and their lives forever.
With a script by Damon Lindelof and Bird (Lost, The Leftovers), and from a story by Lindelof and EW’s Jeff Jensen, Tomorrowland promises the thrill of discovery and scientific discovery—as well as the chance to see Hugh Laurie on the big screen again. David Nix, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, and Kathryn Hahn also star.
Tomorrowland will be in theaters on May 22, 2015.
