Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 - the new trailer

A (surprisingly) sizeable comedy hit for Kevin James on its original release back in 2009, Paul Blart: Mall Cop is, if memory serves, passable good fun during the bit it thinks it's a Die Hard movie. We can't remember much about it, but certainly don't remember not getting something out of it. It was a long time ago, though.

Anyway, so successful was it that the sequel is nearly upon us, even though it's taken some time to get here. And so it's come to pass that Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 will be arriving in April. And, from the look of this trailer, it will involve Kevin James hitting an old lady. And being kicked by a horse.

Here's the official synopsis first though...

In this sequel, in which Kevin James reprises the role of Paul Blart, the security guard is headed to Las Vegas to attend a Security Guard Expo with his teenage daughter Maya (Raini Rodriguez) before she departs for college. While at the convention, he inadvertently discovers a heist – and it’s up to Blart to apprehend the criminals.
