First Image of Emilia Clarke in Voice from the Stone

Whether it is in a Khalasar or in a wind-swept Tuscan villa, it would appear that things are never less than melancholy for Emilia Clarke characters. However, in the latter’s case, there are at least some soothing voices to keep her company, demonic though they may be.

Below we have our first image of Emilia Clarke in Voice from the Stone, a new haunted house thriller that features the Game of Thrones star in a dangerous environment with malevolent forces and creepy children.

As adapted from the Silvio Raffo novel La Voce Della Pietra by screenwriter Andrew Shaw, Voice from the Stone stars Clarke as Verena, a nurse who comes to stay in a Tuscan mansion with a grieving father (Marton Csokas) and his son. While the boy has not spoken in a year since his mother’s death, Verena grows closer to both family members until she too hears the voices in the stone walls that the child knows about. Soon, if she wishes to save the child, she will also have to stop herself from being totally consumed by malevolent spirits.

Voice from the Stone is directed by Eric D. Howell and is to be shipped around the Berlin European Film Market.
