Snyder’s Aquaman pic teases the Justice League with ‘Unite the Seven’ tag.
Zack Snyder stopped by Twitter last night to give us our first look at Jason Momoa as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He doesn’t resemble the blonde Arthur Curry of the comics, but Momoa looks pretty badass nonetheless. He’s heavily tattooed, with some of the tattoos resembling scales similar to the scale-like design of his armor.
He’s also carrying his trident, although this one has five prongs instead of three -- so is it technically still a trident?
Snyder’s tweet is captioned “There is only one true King,” with “Unite the Seven” superimposed over the photo and used as the hashtag. Is that a reference to the “seven seas,” seven members of the Justice League -- or both? We know Aquaman, Flash (Ezra Miller), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), have cameos in the film alongside Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill), but that’s only six. Is it possible we may see Green Lantern as well?
