A famous science fiction movie once had the tagline: In space, no one can hear you scream. In 2013, filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón has countered that we can…and we may wish we didn’t.
In what easily looks to be one of the year’s most compelling (and terrifying) films, Cuarón's Gravity chronicles the journey of Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) on her own space odyssey when she becomes unattached to her space module.
The cast consists of George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. One the astronaut lost in space, the other Matt Kowalsky, her only, and possibly final, link to humanity. It looks harrowing, horrific and some other h word.
Point is that we and any other geek worth their salt will be there for theatrical launch on October 4.
