Well, here it is! Right there on the cover of Entertainment Weekly's comic-con preview issue, you can finally get your first look at Jamie Foxx in all of his electrified glory for Amazing Spider-Man 2. There's been plenty of speculation about what Foxx's Maxwell Dillon would look like once all of the makeup was properly photographed and enhanced, and now that's all over. Foxx appears to be wearing some kind of insulated containment suit that would probably serve to keep his character from dissipating into the either in a burst of electric fire. Or something like that.
This is a pretty serious deviation from Electro's classic yellow and green duds, but that's probably a good thing. This cinematic Electro (the first time this character has made it to live-action in any form) has more in common with the version seen in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics, as well as some of the designs seen on several recent Spider-Man animated series.
