NewsYesterday, it was brought to my attention that a freelance film critic who contributed a number of articles to Den of Geek, Gabe Toro, pleaded guilty to a serious sex crime.
No one at Den of Geek had any knowledge of Mr. Toro's private life or history, and the nature of his crime came as a particular shock. It's inexcusable.
While it has been quite some time since Mr. Toro contributed anything to us, I have removed all of his work from Den of Geek. He will not be mentioned here again.
