Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 will start shooting in February 2016 - and not in the UK this time...
NewsThe initial focus where the Marvel cinematic universe is concerned may be on Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Ant-Man, and Captain America:Civil War. Yet whilst those films trundle towards their release dates, James Gunn has been hard at work on Guardians Of The Galaxy 2.
The latest on the film? Well, firstly that Gunn has completed his treatment and outline for the new film, with a large chunk of the script thus mapped out. But now we learn that production on the movie is set to commence in February 2016.
Gunn will once again be returning to the director's chair, only this time, the film won't be shooting in the UK. Instead, as with Ant-Man, the movie will be shot at Pinewood's Atlanta studios in the US. Karen Gillan is also set to return, in the role of Nebula.
Guardians Of The Galaxy 2is set for release on May 5th 2017. We'll have a lot, lot more on it between now and then...
