As shooting gets underway on Deadpool, a few set photos give a behind-the-scenes look at the hero in action...
NewsWe've already seen the first official image of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, lying on a bearskin rug in front of a roaring fire in classic Burt Reynolds style.
That teasing image marked the beginning of the project's eve of production - a movie which burst into life as a result of the sheer enthusiasm for some leaked test footage from last year.
How fitting, then, that one of the very first scenes being shot in Vancouver seems to be a recreation of that 2014 test footage. Take a quick look at the shots below, which appear courtesy of Breakfast Television Vancouver and a chap named Ken, both on Twitter, and you can see the resemblance.
"Deadpool shooting people, doing flips, just being Deadpool," Ken tweeted from the film's location shoot.

The best thing about these images? They're yet more proof - Deadpool's really happening. Let's hope the final film's as exciting as the test footage suggested it'll be.
For reference, here it is again:
Deadpool's due for release in February 2016.
