NewsPaul Feig has been chatting a little more about his new Ghostbustersfilm, as he sets about promoting the upcoming comedy, Spy.
Spystars Melissa McCarthy and Jason Statham, amongst others, and already reviews for it have been strong. And in a chat with IGN, he's revealed one or two more hints about the new Ghostbustersteam he's put together.
"It's an ensemble, but at the same time you need the one person that brings you into the group," Feig said, revealing that it's going to be Kristen Wiig's character who fulfils that role.
"Melissa is sort of the leader of the group, but everybody will be equal," he added. "I just love a deep bench like this. Every one of those women is strong and so funny. The hardest thing is going to be keeping all of their stuff in the movie."
Feig starts production on his Ghostbustersfilm shortly, ahead of its release on July 22nd 2016. He also confirmed that he has nothing at all to do with the other Ghostbustersfilm that Sony is working on, that's got Channing Tatum involved. "That was a real surprise when that announcement came out," he admitted. "We're just doing our thing and I can't let that affect me. I don't know how real it is."
There's no release date for the second Ghostbustersfilm as of yet, but as we hear more about both projects, we'll let you know...
