As the Star Wars Celebration gets underway in the US, an image of a newly-designed Stormtrooper from The Force Awakens has emerged...
NewsAs you're no doubt aware, the Star Wars Celebration is currently in full swing over in the States, which means we should have all kinds of Lucasverse stuff heading in our direction over the next few hours or so - including, we've been led to believe, The Force Awakens' latest trailer and its first poster.
Ahead of that, a post over at Star Wars Underworld has revealed the first image of a newly redesigned Stormtrooper from this winter's Episode VII.
The image comes from the Star Wars Celebration's official program, which queuing fans have been eagerly thumbing through as they wait in line. Here's one of them holding up a copy:

And here's a closer look at the outfit:

We've already had a look at the Stormtroopers' helmets, thanks to the first Force Awakens trailer, but this is the first proper look we've had of the whole outfit. In our humble opinion, it's a subtle, respectful redesign - a smoothing out of lines rather than an aggressive overhaul.
This, of course, is only the taste of what should be a barrage of Star Wars-related things to come.
