
James Want conjures a classic to remake.

James Wan, who brought us the horror films The Conjuring,Saw, Dead Silence, The Conjuring and Insidious, and Fast and Furious 7, is going to remake The Entity. Wan won’t be directing The Entity. The screenplay will be written by brothers Chad and Carey Hayes.
The Entitywill be produced by Roy Lee, who brought The Ring and The Grudge to America. He is next producing a Poltergiestremake and Cary Fukunaga’s adaptation of Stephen King’s It.
In the original film The Entity, Ron Silver played a shrink who thinks the woman is delusional and doing it to herself until parapsychologists point out the invisible devil.
