The Mummy, Warcraft, Pacific Rim 2, Fifty Shades release dates

Universal Pictures has changed around release dates for a bunch of its big upcoming movies. So without further ado, let's start with Duncan Jones' upcoming Warcraftmovie.

The film, which is widely hoped to break the videogame movie curse, had already been put back from December 2015 to get it out of the way of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Now though, it's being moved into a high summer slot, as the film will arrive on June 10th 2016.

Then, a blockbuster that had been planned for 2016 is moving back to 2017. That'd be The Mummyreboot, that Alex Kurtzman is set to produce and direct. Its release moves from June 2016 to March 24th 2017 (where it'll arrive just ahead of Fast & Furious 8).

Pacific Rim 2, which had been scheduled for April 7th 2017, is getting a slightly later release as well. It's moved to August 4th 2017, with Guillermo del Toro still directing.

The twoFifty Shades sequels also have release dates. Fifty Shades Darkerwill arrive on February 10th 2017 and Fifty Shades Freed is set for February 9th 2018.

Finally, the Tom Cruise film Mena, which reunites him with Edge Of Tomorrow director Doug Liman, will be released on Friday 6th January. It tells the story of a pilot who's recruited by the CIA. He then finds himself overseeing a sizeable covert operation.
