NewsBy the end of the weekend, Fast & Furious 7 should have crossed the $1.4 billion mark worldwide at the box office, and be within reach of The Avengers' global $1.52 billion haul. If it gets that far (and if Avengers: Age Of Ultron doesn't get there first), the sequel will become the third biggest film of all time at the global box office. It would be fair to say that the movie's performance is beyond Universal's wildest box office expectations.
Inevitably, the studio will also be looking to shift a fair few DVDs and Blu-rays when the film gets its disc release too, and we now know when to expect it.
Amazon UK has started taking pre-orders for the discs of Fast & Furious 7, with a September 7th release date. Both the DVD and Blu-ray versions are listed. Thus far, no information on extra features is available. But you won't be surprised to hear that Universal has also lined up a Fast & Furious 1-7 box set too, again on both DVD and Blu-ray.
